H1 antagonist and an inhibitor of the release histamine. The antihistamines are mediated through activation of H1 receptor sites and reduced the intensity of allergic reactions and tissue injury response involving histamine release.

Generic Optivar Nasal Contraindications:

This medicine is contraindicated in patients who have known or suspected hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. So, if you are under any treatments, then speak to your doctor. Otherwise it will lead to a serious adverse event.

Dosage and Administrations:

The suggested Generic Optivar Nasal dose is one drop instilled into each affected area of the eye twice a day. If you are under the treatment of this medication, then care should be taken while handling. Do as your physician says so and do not overdose and miss any doses. If you miss take whenever you remember, but if it is time for another dose, then skip and try to have all the doses in regular intervals.

It is not known whether this medicine is harmful to a pregnant and breast feeding woman, so care should be taken and tell your doctor if you plan to have a baby or already pregnant or a breast-feed mother. Your doctor will recommend this medicine if the potential benefits outweigh your fetus and baby.
